The Taste for Los Al Returns October 10!

The Taste for Los Al returns to The Shops at Rossmoor for its annual food and wine tasting fundraising event on October 10! The event will take place from 6-10 PM. The event, which is the largest fundraiser for activities at Los Alamitos High School, is now also the largest single day food and wine tasting event in all Orange County -- bigger than the Tastes of San Clemente, Laguna Beach, Brea, Santa Ana and over 20 other OC cities. The event, as always, is organized by OUR Los Al which was formed by local parents in 2001 to improve facilities and support activities at Los Al. The first Taste was held in October 2001 at the old Rossmoor Shopping Center, and was considered a huge success, with 600 attendees raising over $20,000 for 12 Los Al booster clubs. The Taste now benefits over 25 booster clubs who annually sell an average of 3,000 tickets and raise nearly $200,000. Since 2001, The Taste has raised over $4 million dollars for activities at Los Alamitos High School.
